Actor-director Upendra's highly anticipated directorial project of the year, UI, is scheduled to release in October in various languages, as announced by the film's producers. Upendra returns to directing with this film after Uppi 2. Starring Reeshma Nanaiah as the female lead, the movie is produced by G Manoharan and KP Srikanth. Upendra expressed his excitement for the release, stating that the unconventional film incorporates advanced VFX and rich symbolism in every scene, aiming to captivate and challenge viewers throughout. The VFX work is being finalized in Bengaluru and Vancouver to immerse audiences in the unique UI universe, while Ajaneesh B Loknath's background score, created in Budapest, will enhance the film.
